Landco Forestry was founded in 2005 by DJ and Maree Landrum. DJ attended Auburn University and gradutated with a Bachelor of  Science degree in Forestry. DJ has been a Registered Forester in Alabama since 2010 and in Mississippi since 2011. He also holds licenses as a Custom Pesticide Applicator, a Mississippi Certified Burn Manager, and an Alabama Prescribed Burn Manager.

Maree attended the University of Mobile and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
